Men Get All the Good Lines

Out of 100 movie lines, I count only nine uttered by women. Anyone with editing skills want to create a new video in response?

Wow, and if I recall correctly, they included the wicked witch, some woman obviously pissed at another "bitch," and various other women weeping or crying for help. Frankly, I'm disgusted that Eowyn's "I am no man" and Thelma/Louise's "I don't think he's gonna apologize" lines didn't get included.

Even bettter /dripping sarcasm and bitterness/, I think I counted like 2 POC in that entire clip.

And Hollywood is supposed to be "liberal."

I know, right? I mean, my husband and I both took issue with some of the lines that were considered "great", but whoever made this video really doesn't care about films with great female characters.

And out of the very few people of color depicted, I'm pretty sure none of them were women.

I counted 10 women (not that that invalidates your point), but like Dolly said, they're often from women in non-hero/main character roles, such as the wicked witch or the psycho mom.

I also counted only one non-Caucasian and one Jewish man.

You're probably right, wondering. My count was pretty hasty, mostly because I didn't feel like watching the damn thing more than once.
